Getting rid of flouride

I rather suspect that John Lusk (09/02/2012) might have inadvertently stumbled across the real reason why successive Governments have refused to allow its citizens to challenge their right to add Fluoride to our drinking water.
I believe that everyone who claims the process is flawed, in the sense of nobody being able to accurately quantify exactly how much we will ingest per unit time, is quite correct.
I am now of the opinion that the real reason for adding the substance to our water supply is that they have no other way of disposing of it. It’s a bit like Nuclear waste! Nobody seems to be capable of getting rid of it!
This then is the solution! (no pun intended) Find a way of safely disposing of this waste product other than by the population consuming it, and Governments will happily stop insisting that we gulp it down.
Food for thought?
