Help raise funds for the Disabled Surfing Association while having fun on the water and the opportunity to win some great prizes Sunday, April 1.
The Disabled Surfers Association on the Mid North coast is mainly made up of surfers, but non surfers can significantly contribute. The association is a totally independent and voluntary organisation, helping people with all types of disabilities to enjoy a safe surfing experience for the past 26 years across Australia.
On Sunday, April 1, local business will be running a special Stand Up Paddle Fundraising event, at the beach between Waters Edge Boutique Hotel and the Marine Rescue Centre.
Events will include best fancy dress on the board and have your favourite pooch compete on a board in the SUP dog event. All entries are only $5 and all proceeds including the lions club BBQ and raffles are being donated to the D.S.A.
Prizes range from $50 cash to your very own Stand Up Paddle and discounted meals.
Come along, have some fun on the water or just enter the raffle and buy a sausage sandwich.
Proudly supported by Sprague and Associates, Turbo Surf Design, Stand Up Paddle Port Macquarie, Independent newspaper, Saxby’s, Water Edge Boutique, Lions Club, VLT Energy Supplements and other associated business.
