A chance to say so long, farewell

Have you been wanting to see Sound of Music, but couldn’t get a ticket?
The Sound of Music at The Players Theatre has been playing to full houses this season and as many of you may have missed out on purchasing tickets, an extra show will be presented on Saturday, March 10, at 2pm.
Directed by local Dennis Knudsen who has directed over 25 musicals, with music by Peter Dick, Creative Arts Head teacher from Camden Haven High School and choreographed by Stacie Morgan, local principal of Wauchope and Port Performing Arts. All the actors are having a fantastic, enjoyable time bringing this popular and well loved musical to you.
The hard work and dedication of the team, including 170 costumes, set construction, make up, lighting and sound will ensure you won’t stop talking about how good it was.
Take yourself back to 1938, embrace famous songs such as “The Sound of Music’, “Edelweiss’, “My Favorite Things’, “Climb Every Mountain’ and “Do-Re-Mi’, and travel with the Von Trap family as they discover love, the pleasure of song, the fear of the Nazi invasion of Austria and their flight to freedom over Maria’s beloved mountain.
