A man tragically drowned off South West Rocks beach on Saturday.
The man, 32, was swimming at beach at South West Rocks just before 3.30pm on April 21 when he got into difficulty.
A surf lifesaver on a jet-ski brought the unconscious man ashore; however, attempts by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to revive him were unsuccessful.
He died at the scene.
Police from Mid North Coast Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
They’ll prepare a report for the information of the State Coroner.
