On local radio I heard about the National Party getting out their book of tricks again to unseat Mr Oakeshott as they did in the last State Election. I never thought I would see the day these tactics would enter Australia as they do in many Third World Countries. Hopefully, Australians have learned a lesson by now to judge their representatives by the way they have served their people’s needs and welfare as Mr Oakeshott has, attracting so much funding to Lyne Electorate especially in Port Macquarie through his intelligent and civilised negotiating mannerism rather than the street fighting methods of others.
