Retail tips tops for women

Kelly Lamb and Fiona Scott-Handley.

Retail revolutions and changes in consumer behaviour are sweeping the UK right now and due to hit our shores very soon, driven by the increasing mobility and connectedness of social media.
Around 70 local business women attended the Hastings Business Women’s Network July Lunch to catch a sneak peek into the future of social media and better understand the increasing impact it has on their business success with visiting social media strategist Fiona Scott-Handley.
Fiona Scott-Handley, who has more than 10 years of digital marketing experience working with companies like Optus and Yellow Pages, said those who were focused on securing ‘likes’ and ‘followers’ were missing an opportunity to connect with customers and build their businesses.
HBWN President Kelly Lamb said the Network was taking advantage of social networking platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn to enable members to continue their conversations online.
The HBWN’s next networking event is an Expo Evening in Wauchope on Monday, August 13. For further information and bookings, visit www.hbwn.com.au.
