Mayoral and councillor candidate Adam Roberts’ councillor election team ‘Team Roberts’ will be holding a ‘meet the candidates’ forum on Saturday, August 25 at the Growers Market complex on Gordon Street, Port Macquarie between 11am and 1pm.
Adam Roberts, Mike Cusato, Ann-Maree Crowe and Glenn Scott make up Team Roberts.
On the day, community members will have a chance to talk with all four candidates over a sausage sizzle in a relaxed and informal environment.
“We wanted to provide an opportunity for anyone in the community to feel comfortable approaching us to discuss any topic they want to. Where better to create that environment than around the barbecue,” Mr Roberts said.
Team Roberts will also continue to attend local candidate forums leading up to the September 8 elections.
Team Roberts will also hold several informal forums around the region in the coming weeks in Wauchope, Camden Haven and Port Macquarie.
These events will be open to the general public and there will be an opportunity to donate to the Team Roberts campaign, sign up to volunteer on polling day and also schedule one on one appointments with any member of Team Roberts at another time as required.
