Adam Rumble was inducted into the Rotary Club of Port Macquarie recently, a third generation Rotarian.
His grandfather, 94-year-old Ron Walesby, was a foundation member of the Tamworth West Rotary Club in 1956 and has been a member of the Rotary clubs of Botany, Sydney, Balwyn in Victoria, Port Macquarie and Port Macquarie West Rotary clubs.
Ron, who is a Paul Harris Fellow, has been a member of Rotary for 56 years.
Lorryl Rumble-Fuller, Adam’s mother, has been a Rotarian since 1997 as a member of the St Ives and Port Macquarie Rotary Clubs.
Lorryl is also a Paul Harris Fellow and was a Sapphire Pin awardee and was a Past President of the Port Macquarie club her son has joined.
Adam has a pedigree of Rotary membership of 71 years through his grandfather and mother.
