Port High gets driving lessons

The NSW Government is holding a free learner driver workshop for parents and supervisors of students from Port Macquarie High School on Thursday, September 20, at 5.30pm at the school.
The two-hour workshop, Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers, is designed to help parents and supervisors plan the best on-road experience for learner drivers and includes information about the current licence conditions for learner and provisional drivers, young driver safety issues and low risk driving.
Parents and supervisors who have attended this course found it boosted their confidence, helped them better plan driving sessions and allowed them to share experiences with other parents and supervisors.
The course also reinforces the important role of families in providing on-going support for young drivers in the early years of driving.
Bookings for the Helping Learner Drivers Become Safer Drivers course are essential and can be made by calling the school direct on (02) 6583 1844.
