On behalf of the Hastings Greens 2012 group of council candidates, I would like to congratulate Peter Besseling, our new Mayor and the eight councillors who were successful in securing a seat at the new council.
We would also like to thank our polling booth volunteers and the voters who placed their confidence in us. It was our first attempt at council in this area and the response was sufficiently pleasing to ensure we will be running a team at the next council election in 2016.
We would like feedback from voters, all suggestions both favourable and otherwise are most welcome.
