The Committee of Endeavour Clubhouse, Port Macquarie’s leading mental health charity, wishes to thank the Port Macquarie Community for the success of all this year’s sausage sizzles at Emerald Downs shopping centre.
The venture has been a wonderful success and Saturday, October 13, marks the last sausage sizzle and raffle of the year at Emerald Downs. All profits go towards building efforts to build the region’s very own Clubhouse which is reaching completion at Hamilton Green, Port Macquarie, being one of only three coastal venues in New South Wales to have such a project in the pipeline. The generosity of the community will soon be translated into a return to the workforce for many mentally ill people through this important project
Endeavour Committee members are particularly exited at the moment because, after 10 years of hard slog, things are finally moving quite quickly for the charity. It is hoped that the Endeavour Clubhouse building will be having its official opening in February or March of next year.
