The charge for tipping a carboot full of waste has risen from $6 to $8 at the King Creek Transfer Station. While one may argue that this is still a modest charge, it represents an increase of 33 per cent. A small trailer-load was $12 and has risen to $15. This is an increase of 25 per cent.
