Clay busting was on the menu last Sunday at the Inglewood Sporting Shooters’ range. Two events were held. A five stand event followed by down the line clays.
The five stand was won by Graham (Scruffy) Morgan who I don’t think has been in the winner’s circle for a while. He fought off Jack Mills and in third place was Tom Donald. Paige Donald, a junior, finished in fifth spot and, in an impressive performance, finished ahead of some of the seniors.
Down the line results were 1st Jack Mills; 2nd Tom Donald and 3rd Douglas Mills.
Several members attended and shot pistol practice and sighted in rifles in preparation for this weekend’s muzzle loading event.
At this stage there is a five lane Seneca run on the program followed by the 10 lane metallic targets set in the forest. I am assured there will be experienced firefighters on board for the day …Â and a bucket of water. Just in case.
