Port Macquarie High School has announced the addition of three new members of staff to begin the 2013 school year.
A spokesperson said it is always exciting to have new teachers who bring with them new, different ideas and teaching methods.
Jo Bourke has joined the Science Faculty, replacing Peter Clem.
Ms Bourke has come to Port Macquarie for family reasons and is looking forward to the opportunity to teach Physics and Biology.
Similarly Rachel Smith has come to the area for family reasons and is passionate about delivering the Visual Arts program to students as a member of the CAPA Faculty.
Also in the CAPA Faculty will be former student Ryan Carrero, who will teach music most of the time, but will also be teaching some Language classes for Jill Longhurst, who will be the relieving Principal following the retirement of Mr Mark Longstaff.
