Host with the most

PORT Macquarie will play host to the best footballers in the region on Saturday as AFL North Coast takes on Tamworth AFL at Wayne Richards Park.
A host of Port Macquarie Magpies players will play in the Peter Chadwick-coached squad, which will be favourite to beat the Tamworth side.
The Tamworth competition includes sides from Inverell, Armidale, Gunnedah and Muswellbrook.
The two leagues have a long history against one another and the rivalry is fierce.
The Port Macquarie players will go into the game full of confidence after the Magpies trounced North Coffs by 198 points on Saturday.
The writing was on the wall early as the Pies booted 7.6 to 1.0 in the opening quarter and that dominance continued throughout the match.
Port Macquarie won the match 32.22 (214) to 2.4 (16).
Ben Hennessy led the scoring with nine goals, while Stewart Todd bobbed up with six majors.
Others to play well were Ryan Moore, Rod Sonergan and Nick Cullen.
Port Macquarie’s win impressed coach Scott Abercrombie as the Magpies did it without skipper Craig Dicker and on-baller Dean Nankervill.
The Magpies will now have a three-week break between matches as they have the bye following this weekend’s interleague round.
Port Macquarie’s next match will be against Sawtell/Toormina at Wayne Richards Park on 1 June.
