A DEBUT trip to Sydney could prove to be the best birthday present for impressive Port Macquarie filly Yupik.
Like all thoroughbreds in Australia, Yupik celebrates her birthday today (1 August) and will race in her first three-year-old event on Saturday.
A winner of five of her six starts as a two-year-old, the Neil Godbolt-trained galloper makes her first appearance at a metropolitan track after winning the feature juvenile race at the Grafton Cup Carnival last month.
