POLICE are investigating following the theft of four firearms from a home on the Mid North Coast.
Between 7.45am and 9am last Thursday, entry was forced into a home on Valla Road, Bowraville.
Four firearms were stolen from the home, along with ammunition and cash.
The guns, described as three rifles and a shotgun, were secured in a locked safe that was broken into during the theft.
Police attached to Mid North Coast Local Area Command were contacted and launched an investigation into the incident.
Their inquiries are continuing and investigators are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
