AROUND 80 people from the mortgage and finance industry attended a Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia regional conference at Mercure Centro in Port Macquarie on Friday.
After the formal part of the proceedings during the day they relaxed and networked over a few drinks in the evening.
One of the hosts was Bernie Kepars of Blue Chip Mortgages in Port Macquarie, who said the consensus from the speakers was that we are at a low interest rate point in the cycle and it was a good time to fix mortgages.
Attendees included business representatives from regional areas and as far south as Sydney.
