Emergency services were called to Norfolk Avenue responding to reports of a stabbing at about 6am.

Strike Force Supel, comprising detectives from Mid North Coast LAC, was established to investigate and police subsequently arrested a 33-year-old man at a house on Sawtell Road at Toormina.
He was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with murder and bail was refused pending an appearance in Coffs Harbour Local Court.
Meantime, police have renewed an appeal for assistance after a club at Wauchope was held up several months ago.
About 10pm on Thursday 18 October, 2013, three men armed with knives and firearms entered the licensed premises in King Street and ordered all patrons to lie on the floor.
Two of the men collected money from the tills and the safe while the other man watched the patrons.
The trio left the club and were last seen heading towards Bruxner Street.
Two of the offenders are described as being 185cm tall, both with thin builds. The third man is about 175cm tall with a stocky build. All three men were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered with a shirt or balaclava.
