ON Sunday 26 January, Port Panthers played a 4BBB and single stableford at Port Macquarie Golf Club. There were 36 starters and several had visitors, M. Donovan, S. Ferrell, R. Marchment.
4BBB winners J. Bellamy/D. Hunt 47 pts, with runners-up W. Donovan/M. Donovan.
Single winner D. Hobbit Bennett 39 pts. NTP 5th J. Bellamy 1.98m, 7th Hobbit 1.2m, 13th B. Tierney 2.65m, 16th Chicken 1.5m. Ball comp winners: R. Budnick 38 pts, G. Fergusson, Mo Ball, F. Vaara, P. Next week, 2 February, is the Bob Evans Memorial Day, a 4BBB stableford plus single at Port Macquarie Golf Club. Support this wonderful day. Presentation night is 31 January, this Friday night. Anyone interested in playing in our social group could contact club captain Don Barnes 6582 1458.
HASTINGS LADIES
THE Hastings Ladies played a stableford competition at Emerald Downs on Monday 27 January. In division 1 (1-19) the winner was Narelle Quinn with 26pts and the runner-up was Miki Collins on count-back from Gaylene Fielding with 18pts.
In division 2 (20-23), the winner was Pam Tye with 21pts on a count-back from Faye Garvey. In division 3, the winner was Dot Ball with 19pts.on a count-back from Liz Lewis.
A birdie, gobbler was recorded by Gwen Staveley on the 2nd, and Liz Lewis collected the NTP prize on the 9th.
