DOES the thought of a lovely lunch in picturesque surroundings have you reaching for your car keys and wallet? Or what about dinner and a show or a night out? Or a drink and then a wander by the river?
You’ll find all of these and more at the North Haven Bowling and Recreation Club, located just 20 minutes south of Port Macquarie on the beautiful Camden Haven River.
The club has fantastic views, great dinning in the Seagulls 140-seat restaurant and great facilities. This includes two large bars, TAB, Keno and gaming rooms, snooker room and a large auditorium which can cater for functions up to 600.
There are weekly raffles and members’ draws, free live entertainment on the last Thursday of every month and some tremendous ticketed events including the upcoming Neil Diamond Super Hits Show, Men of League charity dinner and auction, Johnny Cash Show and even the original Angels in early June.
“Weddings, birthday parties and private functions are always popular, and we can cater any package to suit your needs,” a spokesperson said.
“Our club even owns and operates the Haven Waters Motel and Apartments, a 21-room motel located on the river just 100 metres from the club, so if you feel like a little weekend away or have some family visiting, simple drop into the club or motel to arrange your stay.”
The menu is also extensive and the prices very affordable, yet another reason you’ll want to make the club a regular port of call after your first visit.
