On path to completion

LOCAL residents and visitors to the region will notice a new footpath being constructed along Aqua Crescent, between Bundella Avenue and Ocean Drive at Lake Cathie.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is spending $60,000 on the construction of the new footpath, with work expected to be completed in February, depending on weather.
The work is being undertaken by council crews and sub-contractors and will result in improvements to safety and accessibility in a high pedestrian area.
The council’s acting group manager infrastructure delivery, Peter Jenkins, said the construction of the new path would involve earthworks, concreting works and service relocations.
The council will do its best to safely accommodate public access but the public should expect some minor traffic delays.
