NOMINATIONS are being sought by the Port Macquarie Rotary Club from all Port Macquarie’s emergency service organisations for the inaugural Emergency Service Volunteer of the Year awards.
The winner will receive a trophy and certificate and weekend away courtesy of Golden Chain Motels. Runners-up will be presented with a certificate and a special dinner for two in a local restaurant.
All nominees representing their emergency service organisation will be invited to a special Rotary awards dinner at Panthers on Wednesday 5 March and presented with a certificate honouring their service.
It is hoped that these awards will be an annual event sponsored by Rotary, seeking to honour those who give of their time and effort for the local community.
Organisations are invited to nominate an outstanding volunteer from their organisation. Nominations are to be submitted with CV attached by Monday 17 February to Kerry Medway @ kerry@kerrymedway.org
