Fund-raiser’s heart and sole

Barefoot and ready to go – women bowlers from the North Haven Bowling Club and club staff get into barefoot mode to promote the cancer fundraiser. Shown are, back from left: president Carol Eggleton, club sports and marketing manager Shane Globis, secretary Elaine Pender, treasurer Joy Allen. Front: Norma Lunny, Lorraine Winner, Sue Mcpherson, Deirdre Johnston, Denise Stubbs, Nola Morgan and Irene Ganic.

IF you’d like to have a great night out and help a good cause at the same time, barefoot it down to the North Haven Bowling Club this Saturday, 15 February.
Hastings Relay For Life participant Olga Smallwood has organised a twilight barefoot bowls fund-raiser, commencing at 5pm.
“This mixed event is open to everyone, young and old. You don’t even need to be a bowler to join in,” Olga said.
All proceeds will go to Olga’s Relay For Life team to add to their fundraising tally for the Cancer Council Hastings Relay For Life in March.
Register at the club before noon Saturday.
