BEATLES mania has hit the Hastings!
The annual Beatles Festival kicked off last Saturday with a dance featuring The Chevrolets at Port Macquarie Panthers on Saturday.
The fun continues tonight with a Beatles trivia night at the Wauchope RSL, and tomorrow night the Beatle Magic show at the Laurieton United Services Club.
This Saturday and Sunday there will be a classic car show at Westport Park in Port Macquarie, running from 10am to 3pm. The latter includes entertainment and rock and roll dancers, plus the Lions are cooking up a storm at the world’s biggest barbecue, from 6.30am on Sunday morning.
Popular tribute band The Beatnix will be playing all the old Beatles classics at a dance party at Port Macquarie Panthers this Saturday.
Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association president Janette Hyde said they were definitely aiming for bigger and better than last year’s festival.
