District champion singles
THE district champion of champion singles will be played at City this weekend with all champions to play for the right to contest the zone 3 finals.
Early matches on Saturday will see Kyle Goodwin opposed to the Bendemeer winner, Braden Sole up against Todd Fuller and Malcolm Ahoy will play Peter Leggatt. Dennis Williams has the bye.

State Pennant Finals
AT the time of going to press the following teams will contest the state pennant finals. Grade 1 Belrose versus Taren Point Grade 2 Bulli v Harbord, Grade 3 Revesby Workers v Taren Point, Grade 4 Scone v Grafton, Grade 5 Goodooga v Soldiers Point, Grade 6 Grafton v Fairy Meadow, Grade 7 Lighting Ridge v Figtree. Both Goodooga and Lighting Ridge are from the Barwon District of zone 3.
On behalf of all bowlers throughout New England I would like to offer deepest sympathy to Peter McCann and his family on the loss of his wife and their mother Marie who passed away last Thursday.
