NORTHERN Exposure 3 has returned to the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie for its third instalment and visitors to the gallery can expect a sensational display of local artistic talent.
In essence the exhibition is a celebration of the artistic talent of the Mid-North Coast. In 2014 Northern Exposure features 49 artists and a dynamic cross-section of sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, mosaic and mixed media artworks.
The diversity of styles and subject matter provides an overview of the vibrant local arts community, and an understanding of the complexity of current issues being explored by contemporary artists from this area.
After its first two exhibitions at the Glasshouse in 2010 and 2012, Northern Exposure has become a highly respected fixture in the local arts community calendar.
Northern Exposure 3 was open to all artists based on the Mid North Coast and more than 140 artists applied. The final selection was chosen by a panel of key arts professionals.
The exhibition will run until 27 April. Entry is free.
