Hungry for change?

HASTINGS residents concerned about the environment have been invited to see a landmark film called 2 Degrees.
The film outlines the sociological structural inadequacies of international negotiation on climate change and the effectiveness of local action.
It also stars a legend of local government, Jo Baluch, the now deceased mayor of Port Augustus in SA.
The film runs for 90 minutes and will screen at the Westport Bowling Club on Friday 11 April, with a 6.15pm reception for a 7pm start.
Producer Ange Palmer will be available to discuss the film and answer questions.
The screening is being sponsored by the Three Rivers Greens, so will cost only $5 a head to attend.
