PORT Macquarie-Hastings Council mayor Peter Besseling has yet another hat to his name.
Cr Besseling is the new temporary executive officer of Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast, following the resignation of Peter Tregilgas.
The board has appointed Cr Besseling for an interim period until a new permanent replacement can be found.
The board wished Mr Tregilgas well in his future endeavours.
RDA Mid North Coast exists to be an effective conduit between governments and the communities that make up the region. The Mid North Coast covers the local government areas of Greater Taree, Port Macquarie Hastings, Kempsey, Nambucca, Bellingen, Coffs Harbour and Lord Howe Island.
RDA Mid North Coast is a joint Australian Government and NSW State initiative.
