THE funeral of the Port Macquarie fisherman who drowned was held at St Agnes Catholic Church in Port Macquarie earlier this week.
Simon Campbell Williams, 46, was farewelled on Monday by his family and friends.
Mr Williams, a fitter and turner who worked for Port Plastics, is survived by his wife Janine and two daughters, Danessha, 17 and Tiana, 14.
He was fishing off the rocks at Tacking Point, Lighthouse, when he fell into the water. He was alone at the time.
His body was discovered after he was reported missing later in the day and some clothing was found on the rocks.
