Dispute proves pot luck for police

A MAN will face court over cannabis allegedly found in a Port Macquarie house.
About 10.15pm on Wednesday 11 June police attended a house in relation to a domestic violence incident and spoke to a 40-year-old female, who allegedly advised police to look downstairs.
Police went into a workshop area downstairs and located 57 cannabis plants being grown hydroponically, power cables, fertilisers and scales. Police also located a suitcase with 792gm of cannabis inside.
The 38-old-male was arrested and conveyed to the Port Macquarie Police Station, where he was issued an apprehended violence order in relation to the domestic incident.
Police said he would be issued with a court attendance notice to appear at the Port Macquarie Local Court at a later date in relation to the cultivation and possession of cannabis.
