Local photographer David Fitzpatrick got more than he bargained for when he went out out to shoot some whale pics off the coast of Port Macquarie on Friday. Some RAAF Hornets from Amberley, Ipswich flew over very low on their way home – and David was in the right spot at the right time to grab these amazing close-up shots with his telephoto lens.
