A MAN will appear in court later this month over an alleged aggravated act of indecency incident in Port Macquarie last month.
Police said a 23-year-old man was a student teacher at the time of the incidents on Friday 6 June.
The man is alleged to have sent suggestive text messages, hugged and made suggestive comments to a 17-year-old male student.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.
About 1.40pm last Thursday the man was charged with aggravated incite act of indecency and granted conditional bail to appear at Kempsey Local Court on Wednesday 30 July.
