A 51-YEAR-OLD truck driver who crashed on the Pacific Highway near Telegraph Point last Friday was discharged from Port Macquarie Base Hospital on Tuesday.
The man was driving north when he apparently veered over the south-bound land and then hit trees on the verge.
He sustained chest and stomach injuries. Traffic was disrupted for some time during the clean-up operation.
