IF you are up for a bit of a laugh then the Glasshouse might just have the event for you – presenting the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase on 15 August.
Some of the freshest and funniest acts of Sydney’s biggest annual comedy event and squeezed them into one hilarious night of world-class comedy, to be delivered straight to your doorstep.
With more than 40 regional towns spread over 22 weeks in the 2014 schedule, this year’s Showcase Tour is expected to reach over 20,000 comedy fans.
The showcase heads to northern NSW from 13 August and will feature a killer line-up of award winning and box office smashing artists from all over Australia.
Highlights from the showcase will include the rocket-fuelled energy ball Nikki Britton, the very amusing Jacques Barrett, Australia’s funniest twins The Stevenson Experience, Luke Heggie’s dry, deadpan wit, the femme fatale of Australian comedy Gen Fricker and the hilariously understated John Cruickshank.
Guiding you through this killer line-up will be host David Williams, who is guaranteed to “bring the house down”.
