Charity cheque’s in the mail

LOCAL community organisation 4Life Care and Training Ltd, has been awarded $3684 as part of Our Neighbourhood, a new community program launched by Australia Post earlier this year.
The organisation was one of the many outstanding submissions chosen from the 4600 applications to receive financial support to purchase a community food trailer and online support SMS service to increase engagement with disadvantaged people in the community.
4Life Care and Training was started as a church charity arm in 2008 to help people in need.
“Our aim is to bring some relief through encouragement, love and support,” a spokesperson said.
“Our team of volunteers are enthusiastic about making a positive difference to the lives we touch, whether it is providing food parcels, teaching people how to cook nutritious meals or through our living skills workshops.
“People everywhere are struggling to make ends meet and we are here to help give some relief.”
4Life is a registered charitable, not-for-profit organisation and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
