The Wedding Singer
THIS toe-tapping musical opens on Friday 5 July at 8pm at the TAS Hoskins Centre.
With a young, energetic cast, a light romantic story and breezy ’80s numbers, The Wedding Singer will be a ray of sunshine in the depths of winter.

Human Rights
A LECTURE by tireless and outspoken advocate, Hon. Judi Moylan MP, on Australia’s treatment of refugees, past and present. Presented by Sanctuary on Wednesday 10 July in the Town Hall at 6pm with refreshments beforehand. $15 at the door. A fund-raiser for Sanctuary.
Armidale – Our Town
A PLAY to celebrate 150 years of Local Government. The play traces the story of Armidale from its beginnings to now. Definitely not a history lesson but snippets of the past enlivened with music and song. Two workshops to discuss the project have garnered a wealth of ideas. If you love local history, act, sing, dance, play music, make costumes, create sets, do fantastic lighting and sound, or just have good ideas, this may be for you. Digital Art
JOIN artist and graphic designer, Mic Rees, to try new ways of painting and drawing in the digital world. Participants will gain hands-on experience using design applications, their fingers and stylus pens, to create art with a wow factor. On 10 July from 10am-4pm. From ages12 +. Cost: $75. Margaret Olley
A LAST chance to become immersed in the rich, decorative world of Margaret Olley. Presented by the Historic houses Trust, Home focuses on Margaret Olley’s house in Paddington, Sydney. To walk into Olley’s home is like walking into a painting. NERAM Tuesday to Sunday. Closes 14 July.
Writers’ Drop-In

UNE Student Art Prize
ENJOY the work of our youngest artists in one of NERAM’s favourite exhibitions. Each school that has entered will be represented. Opens: 19 July at 6pm until 4 August.
