Fundraiser for Sids for Kids

This Saturday, November 24 from 10am in the Armidale Plaza, Sids for Kids will be holding a special fundraising event, with fairy floss, hair braiding, hair colouring and, of course, a big shave off.
John Miller from St Mary’s Review fame, Michelle McKay and Brian Chaffey have put their hands up (or should we say hair) for the special event.
“Brian is finally going to shave off his beard,” said event organisers Maxine Mitchell.
“He tells me it has been getting a bit hot under there. Michelle and John are both having their heads shaved. The shears are set down for 11am.”
First cab off the rank will be Brian. Most will remember him from his cab driving days back in the 20th Century. Next will be the bravest woman in Armidale this week, Michelle. When you ask the family how they feel about her shaving all her hair off, all they do is shrug their shoulders and say “okay, what can you do but go with the flow”.
Last, but certainly not least, will be John, a fine strapping young man who, a couple of years ago, went to the Servies staff party as a Jelly Baby! He will never live that one down!
All three are hoping for your support, so come down on the day and join in the fun. If you are unable to make it on the day but would still like to donate, donations can be made at the Servies Club or St Mary’s School.
