New members will join the Port Macquarie Town Centre Masterplan committee.
The new committee was announced at last week’s Council meeting with the nine expressions of interest received and accepted.
The new committee represents a combination of community, CBD landholders, Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce and CBD traders.
Two members of the previous committee, Brian Tierney and Jeff Gillespie, have nominated to continue their membership for the next 12 months.
Gary Randall, Acting Director of Infrastructure Services, made special mention of outgoing Committee member Andrew Campbell who has served on the committee since its inception in around 1995.
The Town Centre Masterplan sub-committee will initially review the existing Town Centre Master Plan, the committee’s roles, the financial model and the works program proposed.
