The Tacking Point Lions Club enjoyed the company of the Lions Youth Exchange during July.
Leo Alexis Griffith was from Kentucky USA and was hosted by Past District Governor Christine Woolnough.
Alexis experienced quite a lot on her stay in Port Macquarie, which included a visit to the Koala Hospital, the Billabong, kayaking, South West Rocks, Dorrigo and The Beatle Boys show at the Glasshouse, among many other things.
Alexis loved our beaches but was not too impressed with the cool weather after leaving summer to come here.
She was introduced to Tim Tams and Freddo Frogs and her luggage was quite weighty with many a packet to take home.
Alexis left to attend Camp Krocodile in Caloundra before flying back home on July 29.
