Neville Parsons, CEO of the Holiday Coast Credit Union, presented a cheque for $1825 to the President of the Port Macquarie Art and Craft Centre, John Hodge recently. The Credit Union supports many local community organisations through its Community Not-for Profit Grants Scheme. This grant enabled the purchase of dust extraction equipment, which has now been installed in the renovated woodwork rooms at the Centre.Woodwork members expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the equipment installation of the dust extraction equipment means a healthier dust-free workshop. People of all ages are welcome to come along and learn how to use the lathe and other woodworking machines and enjoy creating their own woodwork projects.
