Water-saving ambassador Whizzy the Waterdrop has commenced an interactive conservation tour in January offering helpful water saving tips and hints to residents and visitors.
Whizzy and friends are hitting beaches, pools and shopping centres across the region each Wednesday throughout January encouraging residents and visitors to be water-wise and to be mindful of water consumption this summer.
Yesterday was his first big drop.
Children are being encouraged to soak up Whizzy’s water-saving message with prize giveaways and promotional items also available to those who join in the fun.
With the Port Macquarie-Hastings region expecting another bumper holiday season, Whizzy’s presence throughout the summer is a fun and friendly reminder of the Level 1 Mandatory Water conservation Measures still in place.
