Over 100 partygoers kicked up their heels at the Port Macquarie Lions Club Bunny Hop Charity Ball recently, many getting into character.
Raffle draws took place, thanks to the generous donations from 37 local businesses.
The funds raised went to assist the Port Macquarie Base Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the Port Macquarie Men’s Shed.
Palliative Care was presented with a cheque for $3000 and the Men’s Shed $2500.
The Three Lions Clubs in Port Macquarie have similar aims, with particular emphasis on youth and the more unfortunate in the community.
