Violent night on the town

Police are appealing for public assistance after four men sustained injuries in three separate incidents at Port Macquarie on the weekend.
Between 1am and 2am on Sunday, June 3, officers attached to Mid-North Coast Local Area Command attended the incidents at different locations within Port Macquarie CBD.
In Hay Street, a 25-year-old man from Wyong Creek suffered facial injuries after allegedly being assaulted by two males. The man’s mobile phone was stolen during the incident.
An 18-year-old male from Port Macquarie sustained a cut to his eye after allegedly being kicked and punched in Short Street. A mobile phone belonging to the man was also stolen.
A 22-year-old man from Collombatti and a 21-year-old man from Kempsey were also injured after allegedly being assaulted in a carpark in Short Street.
Police are appealing for members of the public who may have witnessed the incidents, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in Port Macquarie’s CBD between 1am and 2am on Sunday, to contact Port Macquarie Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
