A final concept plan for an all abilities playground in Wauchope has been put on public exhibition for a period of 19 days to allow a final opportunity for the community to review the plans before they are presented to Council.
The final concept addresses the position of the playground in Bain Park, as raised in previous community consultation.
Director of Infrastructure Services, Jeff Sharp advised that the grant funding for this project must be spent by the end of 2012 and as such this drives the shortened consultation period for this final concept review.
The $200,000 project will see the creation of a community space in Wauchope, designed specifically to be accessed by people of varied physical abilities.
The concept plan will be on display from Council’s website www.pmhc.nsw.gov.au until March 19.
