Local business Saltwater Wine took out New South Wales Retailer of the Year and Online Channel Retailer of the Year awards recently at the Australia Surf Industry’s night of nights.
The company celebrated in style at the Surf Industry Awards dinner held at Novotel Manly Pacific, hosted by Australia’s Surf Retailers Federation.
The awards celebrated the Australian surf industry’s best product, brands and retailers.
In winning the NSW award Saltwater Wine came out on top of a field 28 of the state’s top surf retailers.
Anthony Wilson, owner of Saltwater Wine said, “This is a credit to our wonderful and talented staff in our stores and at our Port Macquarie head office.
“We work really hard at what we do and this is nice recognition for all the hard work.”
Mr Wilson, who has owned Saltwater Wine for 23 years, has also been heavily involved in industry groups, and was central in the formation of Surf Retailers Federation.
He was also honoured with the award for Outstanding Service to the Surf Industry.
