Library suffers through vandalism spree

Port Macquarie library was temporarily closed last week as a result of being targeted by vandals.
Extensive damage to the roof and ceiling of the library was caused in a vandalism attack over the weekend. Other property within the library, including computers, were also damaged. NSW Police are investigating.
The library was closed until Wednesday, July 4, while affected areas were cleaned and secured. Ongoing repair works to the roof and ceiling will continue in the coming weeks.
