Tourism plan in motion

The Legendary Pacific Coast has formed a Project Committee to improve the tourist drive with a new Product Development Plan.
The Project Committee includes a representative from the Caravan and Camping Industry Association NSW, PR and Publications Manager, Allison Moller; The Legendary Pacific Coast Chair and Executive Officer, Mid-North Coast Tourism, Belinda Novicky; Tourism Hunter Business Development and Marketing Coordinator, Hayley Sherack; Mid-North Coast Regional Tourism Organisation Board member and Manager Melaleuca Surfside Backpackers, Michelle Cox; Good Company PR Director, Sonia Fingleton; Jacqui Greeves, Business Development Manager, Central Coast Tourism; Enigma Group Account Director, Nathan Thurston; The Legendary Pacific Coast Project Coordinator, Kim MacDonald; and Department of Industry and Investment’s Bill Mabey.
A recently received $185,000 Product Development Grant will be used to enhance the existing iPhone app and improve current technologies to include iPad compatibility. Additionally the app and website will be enhanced with a series of new trails and itineraries covering special interests such as culture and heritage, National Parks and Wildlife, whale watching, food, wine, farmgate, surfing and backpacker trails information.
The trails will be completed by October 2012.
