Neurologist talks shop

Leading Brain Researcher Dr Simon Lewis, Director of the Parkinson’s Disease Research Clinic at the Brain & Mind Research Institute.

A leading neurologist will share his knowledge with Port Macquarie’s Parkinson’s Support Group.
Dr Simon Lewis, Director of the Parkinson’s Disease Research Clinic at the Brain & Mind Research Institute, will address the September monthly meeting of the Support Group to be held at The Westport Club on Friday, September 21, from 1.30pm to 4.00pm.
Dr Lewis is Associate Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience at University of Sydney, and is a Consultant Neurologist at the Prince Alfred Hospital.
He has authored many papers and books and is recognised for his leading research into movement disorders — recently winning a substantial grant from the Michael J Fox Foundation to further his research.
