The Hastings Relay for Life is being launched this Sunday by the local Volunteer Chair, Warden Mersey, and his dedicated committee.
The Hastings Relay For Life is an annual community event which will be held on April 2 and 3 this year.
Relay For Life is a fun, outdoor, overnight event where teams of 10-15 people take turns to walk or run around their local oval to honour the lives of people touched by cancer.
Organised by local volunteers with the support of Cancer Council, Relay For Life is an overnight fundraising event that raises money for research, support and education programs in the Hastings regions.
Join in the celebrations on Sunday, February 20 at Bunnings Warehouse from 9am to 4pm for a community barbecue.
You will also have the opportunity to meet Sid the Seagull who will have free sunscreen for you to ‘slap on’ as well as free balloons for the children.
Team information kits will also be available on the day.
